The Manila North Cemetery will impose a “no epal” politics policy during All Saints’ Day.

That means, tarpaulins, streamers, and other materials printed with names of politicians will be taken down.

Fri, Oct 30, is the last day of cleaning up tombs and mausoleums. All cleaning materials, paints, thinners, and other similar substances will only be allowed until midnight. The cemetery will also be closed to all vehicles by midnight.

The public is advised to visit their dead loved ones early to avoid the rush of people on Nov 1. They are also reminded to refrain from bringing deadly weapons, alcoholic beverages, and other prohibited items. Bringing of jewelries and other valuables are also not advised.

Parents, likewise, are advised to put name tags on their children.

WiFi will also be available starting Oct 31. Online tracking of tombstones are also available.

Around a thousand security personnel will man the cemetery.
