UNA president Toby Tiangco shares Holy Week ‘prayer’ for critics

Maybe there was no need to release a statement for this.

In any case, on Wed, Mar 23, as the country started to gear up for the long Holy week break, the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) released a statement directed at their critics and detractors.

“UNA expressed the hole that their critics, particularly alleged detractors of the party’s standardbearer Vice President Jejomar Binay, would have a change of heart,” reports Yuji Vincent Gonzales on Inquirer.net.

In a statement, UNA President and Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco said, “Forgiveness is the message of Holy Week — and with all sincerity, we pray that the anger and hate in the hearts of critics and detractors be transformed into gestures of charity and compassionate connection to our fellow Filipinos who are in pain and suffering from poverty and injustice.”

We wonder what UNA’s critics will say about this.
