Typhoon Nona weakens slightly, another tropical depression may hit PH

PAGASA reports that Typhoon Nona has weakened slightly and it is moving slowly over the West Philippine Sea. Flash floods and landslides are expected over the areas that are still under public storm warning signals.

Storm Signal No. 2 is up over Cavite, Batangas, Lubang Island, Bataan, and southern Zambales.

Meanwhile, Signal No. 1 is up over Metro Manila, Laguna, Rizal, northern Occidental Mindoro, northern Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, and the rest of Zambales.

Another, the tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility was spotted at 1,180 kms. east of Mindanao.
