Tycoon Lucio Tan’s tobacco firm donates PHP100 million for Yolanda victims

Smoking is dangerous to your health, but nobody will reject any kind of donation right now.

“Tobacco giant PMFTC Incorporated—the result of the merger of Philip Morris Philippines Manufacturing Incorporated and (PMPMI) and Lucio Tan-owned Fortune Tobacco Corporation—is donating PHP100 million to the relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The donation, which will be coursed through the American Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will be spread over two years.
