Experts have been sent to the blast site at Two Serendra in Taguig City to check the area for gas leaks which could have possibly triggered the explosion. The blast killed three people on the spot and left at least five others injured.
According ABS CBN News, a team from the Department of Science and technology – University of the Philippines Geology came in with special equipment to assist the Bureau of Fire Protection in the inspection.
Special attention will be given to unit 501 of Two Serendra Condominium. Besides checking for leaks, the Department of Works and Highways will also be doing a thorough check on the structural integrity of the building which may have been compromised after the blast.
