The chairmen of two barangays in Quezon City have received funeral flowers as a warning against vote buying, Radio DZMM reports.
According to the report, Barangay Chairman Richard you of Sto. Domingo and Barangay Chairman Popoy Halili of Damayan both received flowers with their dates of birth and May 13, 2013 as their death dates. Someone also splashed red paint on the gate of Yu’s house, the report said.
Partisano, the group that supposedly sent the flowers, warned the two chairmen against helping politicians buy votes in the elections.
The Quezon City Police Department is still verifying whether the group actually exists.
