Yes, we saw the word coconuts and we decided to pick up this story.

“A truck carrying PHP250,000 worth of coconuts was hijacked by at least four armed men in San Pablo City, Laguna. The truck itself is priced at PHP2 million,” reports Ronilo Dagos on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Leonardo Almandrones, the caretaker of the truck which was parked along Maharlika Highway, was sleeping when the suspects on board a Ford Explorer pointed a gun at him.”

The suspects then had Almandrones go up to the back of the truck, while one of the suspects got into the vehicle.

The suspects then dropped off Almandrones in Dasmariñas, Cavite. He immediately went back to Laguna to report the robbery.

San Pablo Police have already asked their counterparts in nearby towns and provinces to watch out for the truck with plate number AAT 3141.
