Even if it’s not expected to be such a harsh storm, it’s best to be prepared.

“The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Tropical Storm ‘Bavi’ is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday, March 17,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to PAGASA weather forecater Benison Estareja, “although Bavi is set to enter PAR tomorrow, but is not expected to affect any part of the country in the next 48 hours.”

“Bavi” will be locally named “Betty” once it enters PAR. At this point, it is expected to weaken as it approaches the Philippine landmass.
