Trillanes thinks lie detectors are needed in pork scam probe

While many think whistleblower Ruby Tuason would finally be able to pinpoint those involved in the pork barrel fund scam, there’s one person who’s not yet that sold on what she has to say.

Thus, during his interview on ANC’s Headstart, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV was aked if it’s time “to use lie detectors in pork scam hearings.”

Trillanes had replied, “Palagay ko, in this case, dapat (In my opinion, in this case, we should).”

He then went on to explain, “Sa testimony ni Mrs. Ruby Tuason ‘wag muna tayo magsaya kasi hindi natin alam kung ano yung hangarin talaga niya rito (We shouldn’t rejoice over the testimony of Mrs. Ruby Tuason because we don’t really her true intentions yet). The only way for her to show that is by telling us everything. That’s the only time we should celebrate [and be certain that] we have found a breakthrough.”
