Trillanes: 2 Binay aides are out of PH

Interviewed on dzIQ on Sunday, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said according to an ‘unspecified insider,’ VP Binay’s finance offer Gerry Limlingan and his secretary Eduviges ‘Ebeng’ Baloloy have fled the country.

They are now objects of a manhunt of International Police, adds the senator, who has announced his desire to run as VP.

According to a report by Christine O. Avendaño in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, “The Senate has issued arrest warrants against Limlingan and Baloloy for snubbing hearings of its blue ribbon subcommittee into the alleged overpriced Makati City Hall Building II.”

The panel issued a partial report in May, recommending plunder and graft charges against the Vice President, his son, Makati mayor Junjun Binay, the aforementioned two aids and several others.

Continues the report: “In a text message to the Inquirer, Trillanes said Limlingan and Baloloy were hiding separately. ‘Their locations were tipped off and these will be put under surveillance,’ he added. ‘All leads are being checked out just to be sure.’”

Not surprisingly, Binay’s camp have yet to comment on the matter.

Last week, the Vice President resigned from the Cabinet, gave a press conference where he pretty much burned the administration, and where members of the press weren’t allowed to ask questions. Somehow, two of his, well, character-laden letters were also made available to the media, who more than happily published them on their respective social media pages and websites, including Coconuts Manila.
