Traffic violation leads to arrest of two notorious robbery suspects in San Juan

When you’re up to no good, the least you could do is keep a low profile and mimic a good citizen; you don’t want to get caught. But not these two suspects. A traffic violation led to the arrest of two notorious robbery suspects, including a woman, in San Juan City [Wednesday] morning, who were apparently fleeing,” reports Arlene Rivera of People’s Journal.

Police identified the suspects as Joanna Guevarra and Wilmer Velasco, who made an illegal counterflow along San Perfecto Street. That raised a red flag for police, who pulled them over. Upon questioning, authorities received information about robbery incident that fit the suspects’ description.

Investigators frisked the suspects on the spot. The search yielded a gun, a knife and two sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu). They also learned that the duo had been implicated in a series of robberies in the city.
