“The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised motorists to use alternate routes this weekend as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) would be conducting reblocking and repair work on EDSA,” reports Niña P. Calleja in the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The repair work will start in these areas at 10pm on Feb 21 (Friday) and end at 5am on Feb 24 (Monday).
The MMDA identified the following affected areas:
1. the stretch of Edsa between Boni Avenue and Guadalupe Bridge (southbound) in Mandaluyong City
2. between Guadalupe Bridge and South Drive (southbound, fifth lane) in Makati City
3. between Don Ang Street and Gen. Tinio Street (northbound, fifth lane) in Caloocan City
