“In an advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the Marala Bridge in Tondo, Manila has been closed to vehicles going to Manila area to pave the way for its repair by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH),” reports Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren in the Manila Bulletin.
The MMDA has listed the following alternative routes:
1. All heavy vehicles can take C3 Road, then left turn to R10 road, left at C2-Capulong St. straight to Raha Bago, and left to Juan Luna St. to point of destination, vice versa.
2. For light vehicles, they can take C3 road then left at R10 Road, left at C2-Capulong St., and left at Velasquez to point of destination, vice versa.
3. All public utility vehicles, particularly jeepneys going to Divisoria, may take R10 road, then left to C2-Capulong St. to point of destination, vice versa.
