Torre de Manila construction set to resume

Just when you thought it wouldn’t happen, it does.

“The construction of the controversial condominium in Taft Avenue, Manila will be in full swing after it has received a full go-signal from city officials,” reports Jenny F. Manongdo in the Manila Bulletin.

However, those who have opposed the construction of the condo say they’re still “unimpressed.” The report said they have “vowed to strictly guard the developer’s compliance on the conditions set by the Manila Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals.” They want to make sure that the design of the condominium would be adjusted so it wouldn’t affect the view of the Rizal shrine.
