All four of them are located in Metro Manila.
“Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo, chairman of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, identified the four leading civil engineering schools in the country.,” reports InterAksyon.com.
They are as follows (with the percentage of their examinees passing the licensure tests in brackets):
1. De La Salle University-Manila (98.46%)
2. University of the Philippines-Diliman (92.39%)
3. University of Santo Tomas (91.79%)
4. Technological University of the Philippines-Manila (83.87%).
Citing Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) statistics, Romulo said the four schools were the only ones “with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80 percent of their examinees passing” the last two Civil Engineer Licensure Examinations.
