Where do Pinoy virtual explorers like to go?
“According to Google Philippines, landmarks with rich cultural histories fascinate Filipino virtual explorers the most,” reports GMA News Online.
The company recently released a list of the places that Pinoys searched for most on Google Street View.
Google Philippines said in a statement, “Pinoys delighted in man-made structures representing freedom, love and power, with Fort Santiago topping the list. Out of the seven countries listed, home remains a top choice for Pinoys to explore as two other historical landmarks in Intramuros also appear on the list.”
That said, the 10 destinations Filipinos searched for most on Street View are the following:
1. Fort Santiago, Manila, Philippines
2. Eiffel Tower, Paris, France
3. Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
4. Champ de Mars, Paris, France
5. Taj Mahal, Agra, India
6. Baluarte de San Diego, Manila, Philippines
7. Burj Khalifa, Dubai, UAE
8. Plaza San Luis Complex, Manila, Philippines
9. Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
10. Central Park, New York
