It may be summer time, but love is still in the “hair”.
People from the province of Albay started donating their hair to a program aiming to gather enough materials to create wigs for cancer patients.
The program, dubbed “Love Is In The Hair” aims to help kids who are undergoing chemotherapy.

According to the program officials, interested individuals may donate their hair as long as it has not be rebonded, dyed, or treated in any way, and must be at least 12 inches long. They’ll be accepting hair donations until the end of April.
