Arcie de Jesus, 25, was at the home of his fiancée Maricar Capili, 21, along Coral Street in Tondo, Manila, when they got into an argument at around 11:54am. Capili’s mother, Victoria, 60, was also present.
As the couple’s argument escalated, Victoria allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed De Jesus, who was hit on the right side of his jaw.
“Though wounded, De Jesus was able to get out of the house to seek help from his friend Jeric Sta. Maria, who took him to the hospital,” reports Itchie G. Cabayan on Journal Online.
Victoria escaped and is now in hiding.
