Life imitated art at the Holy Trinity College of General Santos City in South Cotabato when students danced to the beloved High School Musical (HSM) song “We’re All in This Together” during their graduation.
The now-viral video of the performance was shared by Facebook user Ric Sherwin Verzosa last week and shows the class dancing exactly like Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) did in the films.

The characters also sang it during a graduation scene in HSM 3, just like the students of Holy Trinity College.

Verzosa also posted another video of them singing “A Million Dreams” from the 2018 movie The Greatest Showman.
Verzosa told Coconuts Manila through a Facebook message that they performed both the HSM dance and The Greatest Showman song on March 27 (Wednesday) at the Lagao Gymnasium in General Santos City.
Verzosa is one of the 392 senior high school students who graduated that day. He said that his teacher Jeatrin Oro choreographed the HSM dance in just two weeks.
“[S]he told us that it is a very good song and personally it’s true, we love that song because it also became part of our childhood.”
“The dance was hard but teacher Jeatrin believed that we can be able to do it in just 2 weeks,” he said.
He said that it felt good to be part of the dance, but added that it was a bittersweet memory. “We enjoyed it a lot but also at the same time, [it was] sad for it is also our last dance… And [the] last time [we’ll be] seeing each other,” he shared.
The HSM video had over 39,000 views, 1,200 likes, and 1,000 shares, while The Greatest Showman video had over 28,000 views, 700 likes, and 700 shares as of this article’s posting.
Netizens commended and congratulated the students.
On the HSM video, Facebook user JR Almonia said: “If only the whole country is that united. What a sight.”
Deo Francis said: “It looks good when there’s a lot of [performers].”

On The Greatest Showman‘s video, Doren Salgados commented: “Creative way of singing the Graduation Song.”
