Temperature in Metro Manila hit 36.6 degrees Celsius on Thursday afternoon, making it the hottest day in the capital this year, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
According to its public weather forecast issued at 5:00 p.m., Pagasa measured a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees C at its Science Garden in Quezon City at 3:55 p.m.
Earlier this week, Pagasa reported temperature in Metro Manila was at 36.1 C.
