The family feud is on! (Whether they admit it or not.)

“Should she run for governor of Tarlac province, TV host and movie actress Kris Aquino won’t have to spar with her aunt, former Tarlac Gov. Tingting Cojuangco, who said she’d rather leave than see her famous niece in an elective position,” reports Tonette Orejas in Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Tingting is the wife of Peping Cojuangco, the brother of former President Cory Aquino who has been vocal about his sentiments against President Noynoy Aquino.

Tingting, 70, was asked for her opinion on Kris running for public office  in a forum of the Capampangan in Media Inc. at the Holiday Inn in Clark, Pampanga last Feb 20. Her exact words: “I’ll just leave the country.”

The report indicated that she had said it “in jest.”
