Ah, such sweet memories of a happy marriage.
Vice President Leni Robredo shared on Facebook a photo with her husband, the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo in their Harvard apartment in the late 1990s.
“Accidentally found this picture from 17 years ago. Taken, one evening, in our small Harvard apartment with Jesse doing the dishes,” wrote the Vice President.
The Robredo couple stayed in Boston when Jesse attended Harvard University, where he graduated with a master’s degree in public administration in 1999.
Just like any other young couple, they had an interesting collection of ref magnets.
“When we lived in Boston, we shared in the household chores. I cooked, he washed the dishes. He did the laundry, I ironed the clothes,” Leni added.
