Three men were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations after authorities discovered that they were using a government-owned vehicle in their drug transactions.

According to a report by ABS-CBN News, suspect Mark Anthony de Guzman was arrested in the first buy-bust operation in Bulacan. He revealed that his suppliers are using an ambulance owned by barangay (village) Minuyan to transport illegal drugs to his eatery.

In the second buy-bust operation, driver Privado Salonga Jr. and one Ron Agustin were arrested.

The local government officials of Barangay Minuyan did not know about the illegal transactions.

“The barangay doesn’t know about his [Salonga’s] actions. We do not tolerate his illegal transactions,” said barangay administrator Efren Ignacio.

The police authorities have invited the head of Barangay Minuyan to question him about the situation.
