Sweater weather is nearly officially over.
“The country is now in transition from cold to dry season, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, Feb 10,” reports the Philippines News Agency on InterAksyon.com.
Pagasa weather forecaster Gener Quitlong explained that “the cold northeast monsoon has started to weaken.” He added that the termination of the northeast monsoon will likely take place in last week of February or early March.
