Thieves break through ceiling to get to Ongpin Street jewelry store

How far will thieves go to enjoy the millions from somebody else’s hard work?

In this case, they even destroyed the ceiling of another shop to do their thing.

“An estimated PHP3 million worth of jewelry were stolen from QT Gift Items on Ongpin Street, Sta. Cruz, Manila after still-unidentified suspects destroyed the ceiling of the room next to shop in order to to do the break-in,” reports Aries Joseph Hegina on Inquirer.net.

According to show owner Patrick San Agustin, they discovered the robbery when they were about to open the shop at around 9:30am on Monday, Oct 13.

Unfortunately, the report said that “the shop and its premises do not have closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras.”
