We hope the necklace’s owner disinfected it like crazy when it was returned to her.
“Robbery suspect Freddie Espinosa, 25, tried to get away with his crime by putting in his mouth the gold necklace that he had snatched from Rose Jenaka, 69, as she was walking along Scout Borromeo Street in Quezon City sometime around noon on Wednesday in Quezon City, Jan 22,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Fortunately, Espinosa had not yet swallowed the necklace when police caught up with him. They made him spit it out.
