Malacañang just released the list of national holidays for 2016. From the list, there are 10 regular holidays, 9 special non-working holidays, and hmm, at least six long weekends.
According to this Inquirer report, Muslim holidays will be announced later on, in accordance with the Islamic Calendar.
So yes, consider this your permission to start planning and booking for your trips next year!
