It’s so ironic, you’d almost start singing the song.
“Dominga Cadelina, a former house helper of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles, has been released from the custody of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) after a Makati court’s ruling acquitting her of qualified theft has become final,” reports Ina Reformina on ABS-CBNNews.com.
PAO chief Atty. Persida Acosta explained that “Napoles’ husband Jaime and her brother Reynald Lim, the complainants in the case, no longer filed an appeal to contest the Makati City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 145 ruling last October that dismissed the case against Cadelina.”
Cadelina, who had worked for the Napoles family for 10 years, had been accused of stealing US$13,400 worth of clothes, underwear, and other personal items.
