Thai princess visits Typhoon Yolanda survivors in Leyte

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand recently visited Typhoon Yolanda survivors in Leyte.

“Aside from donating classrooms to the school damaged by the typhoon, she also toured several destinations including the Santo Niño Church in Tacloban City and the MacArthur Park in Palo Town,” reports ANC’s Dateline Philippines.

The report noted that “security was tight during the princess’ visit and media were not allowed to get close to her entourage.”
