Playing dead for this teenaged boy got too real.
“A 14-year-old boy died when he accidentally hanged himself while playing with his siblings apparently and reenacting a suicide by a neighbor yesterday in Quezon City,” according to Melnie Ragasa-Jimena of Abante Tonite.
Investigators said the victim was found hanging by his nine-year-old brother in their house in Barangay Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City on Monday night. Apparently the children had been pretending to commit suicide quite some time after a neighbor hung herself recently.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
