With a name like “Super Yolanda,” that illegal firecracker should already have scared off people.
“The the Department of Health (DOH) revealed that a 14-year-old boy’s right hand had to be amputated due to the blast of the new illegal firecracker called ‘Super Yolanda,'” reports Louis Bacani on Philstar.com.
Meanwhile, to make matters worse, DOH Assistant Sec. Eric Tayag said that as of Friday morning, Dec 27, they have recorded 134 firework-related injuries, which include one case of firecracker ingestion and five stray bullet victims.
So, who else wants to greet the New Year minus a hand?
