“A 14-year-old boy died in a hit-and-run incident along Ortigas Avenue before dawn on Thursday, July 24,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Raya Capulong on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Witnesses revealed that the boy died after being hit by two trucks while crossing the road. His body was mangled due to the accident.
Fortunately, a taxi driver reported the incident, which resulted in the arrest at a police checkpoint of two truck drivers, who were identified as Fernando de Ocampo and Reynaldo Sareno.
The two truck drivers blamed each other for the boy’s death. However, the taxi driver said both trucks hit the boy.
