A teenager was arrested by authorities yesterday after he allegedly killed a call center agent who allegedly tried to touch him inappropriately.
The victim was identified by GMA News as Domingo Piañar, whose half-naked cadaver was found inside the toilet of an abandoned house in San Jose Del Monte in the province of Bulacan on Sunday.
The cadaver was found by a witness who also identified the teen as the alleged killer.
The teen was arrested while driving a motorbike that allegedly belonged to Piañar, Police Lieutenant Col. Orlando Castil Jr., San Jose Del Monte’s chief of police told GMA News.
The teen also allegedly had the victim’s cellphone and a packet of meth when he was caught, according to Remate.
According to the teen, he killed Piañar after the call center agent allegedly went to his place and embraced and kissed him, Radyo Inquirer reported.
The teen tried to stop Piañar but he allegedly didn’t cease. The teen then hit him multiple times with a long piece of wood.
He said he did it because it reminded him of the time when he was allegedly raped by another man.
“I have a phobia against gay men. I was raped by a gay man when I was a child. I remembered it. Maybe that’s why I did that,” he said.
The police, however, will still investigate if the suspect and the victim had a relationship and if the killing occurred due to a fight.
The suspect is currently in the custody of San Jose Del Monte Police and will face charges of robbery with homicide.
