Addressing the suspects, De Castro said, “Hindi naman kayo pababayaan ng kapatiran (The brotherhood won’t abandon you).”

De Castro also said, “We would like to make it clear that we do not advocate the killing of neophytes. Our objective now is to find justice for the deceased.”
