As dying goes, this isn’t one of the best ways for one’s life to end.
“Edwin Lujero, 29, was having a meal at an eatery along Bonifacio Street in Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig at around 2am on Thursday, Jan 23, when a lone assailant shot him,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
He was still alive after the first shot. He tried to escape, but ended up inside a room where the carinderia owner’s kids slept.
Witnesses say the unidentified suspect followed Lujero and fired more shots at him. The gunman then fled the scene. Thankfully, the two children inside the room were not hurt.
Police are still trying to find out the motive behind Lujero’s murder.
