Taguig takes fighting bullies very, very seriously.
“On Friday, June 6, the Taguig City government announced that it has completed the installation of closed-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) in all of the city’s public schools to strengthen its ongoing anti-bullying campaign,” reports Mike Frialde on Philstar.com.
According to Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, the CCTV cameras will complement the existing Students’ Anti-Bullying Action Center (SABAC), which is “one of pillars of the Department of Education’s program against bullying in schools.”
The report noted that “Taguig’s anti-bullying campaign also aims to urge witnesses of bullying among students to report an incident on the behalf of the victims.”
