Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) workers in Taguig City are trying to find a boy who allegedly used brass knuckles in beating up a classmate.
Ronnie Audije, an officer of the DSWD-Taguig City said that the suspect in the killing of 14-year old Jurie Jabon has not surrendered to the city’s DSWD.
Audije also corrected an earlier report by Taguig-Pateros Department of Education administrator George Tizon stating that the suspect was one of the street children who had played basketball with Jabon.
Jabon was attacked by a group of teenagers last Friday as he was walking along 7th Street in Barangay Katuparan at around 7 in the evening.
He was punched with a set of brass knuckles. He was brought to the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital where he was declared brain dead the following day, the Philippine Star reported.
