Cue in the celebration: Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano announced on Monday, October 14 that they’ve formed a task force to get rid of illegal vendors and structures along C-5 Road.
“The C-5 Task Force is made up of representatives from different city hall offices, and that its main objective is to clear the sidewalks of nuisances,” reports Dennis Carcamo of Philstar.com. “Nuisances” refers to anything that can be classified as an obstruction, such as garbage and whatever else may get in the way.
However, Cayetano pointed out that “the clearing process takes time because those operating makeshift stalls and other vendors tend to return after a period of time, delaying the clearing progress.”
In that case, we wish the C-5 Task Force good luck. It sure looks like they’re going to need it.
