“A new survey by Social Weather Stations (SWS) suggests that Senator Grace Poe has emerged as Filipinos’ top choice for Vice President. Some 26% of the respondents picked Poe,” reports InterAksyon.com.
The report noted: “The survey results for vice president were released a week after another SWS poll showed Senator Poe trailing Vice President Jejomar Binay on a survey for Filipinos’ choice for the next president.”
The said SWS survey was conducted from Mar 20 to 23 and had 1,200 adults nationwide as respondents.
“About one in every four Filipinos, or 26 percent, chose Ms. Llamanzares when asked to name – without being prompted with a list – just one candidate for the vice-presidency,” BusinessWorld reported of the SWS results. “Following her were Interior Secretary Manuel A. Roxas II (12 percent) and Mr. Binay (7 percent).”
