“At around midnight on Monday, July 7, three people were hurt after the vehicle they were riding rammed into a tree on the center island somewhere along Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Jerome Lantin.
Barangay tanod Ronald dela Paz said a Toyota Fortuner (ZDX-316) had been traveling along Mindanao Avenue coming from the direction of Quirino Highway when it suddenly hit the tree.
Dela Paz said the vehicle was speeding. After it hit the tree, he said that it turned over a few times. The SUV was wrecked. The SUV had five passengers and three of them were seriously hurt.
The victims were brought to various hospitals. The report said the driver fled from the scene.
