A sports utility vehicle (SUV) caught fire along the southbound lane of EDSA-Pasay on Tue noon, Apr 21.
The driver of the Ford Escape with plate number RGW 728 said he pulled over in front of the Heritage Hotel after noticing that smoke was coming out of his car’s hood.
Shortly after he pulled over, his car went up in flames.
Personnel from the Heritage Hotel tried to put out the fire but failed. Responding firefighters were able to put out the blaze after around 25 minutes.
The SUV driver and his son, who came from Parañaque City, were not hurt in the incident.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the fire. —report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
