Is there a day that goes by without a dead body turning up?
“The body of Mike Salas, 19, who was believed to be a victim of summary execution was discovered in Quezon City at around 2am on Wednesday, Jan 15,” reports Reinir Padua in The Philippine Star.
Salas was said to be a Manila resident. His body bore multiple puncture wounds, as well as a ligature mark around his neck.
According to the report, “A witness named Robert John Rurillo was walking in Barangay N.S. Amoranto when he saw the victim sprawled on the street.” Rurillo immediately contacted the police.
