Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of fashion stylist Kenneth Chua, 38.
Chua was found dead hogtied and with six stab wounds inside the toilet of his Makati atelier on Mar 11, in broad daylight.
A cash withdrawal using his stolen ATM card in Caloocan the next day, captured on CCTV, has led to the arrest of a former employee.
Police theorize Chua may been forced to give the personal identification number of his ATM card, and that’s why he was hogtied.
There was no bad blood between Chua and his former master cutter, Rogelio Aquiat, according to a witness interviewed in this ABS-CBN report filed by Maan Macapagal. Police are investigating if there’s more than one person involved in the murder.
