We’re glad to see that humor is still very much alive and kicking on social media despite…everything that’s happened since the 2016 presidential elections in the Philippines.
The photograph above was posted by journalist Ivy Lisa F. Mendoza in reference to embattled senator Leila de Lima’s spat with Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II.
On Tue, Sep 27, Senator Leila de Lima was asked for her reaction on Justice Aguirre II’s statement that he is now building up administrative and criminal cases against her.
De Lima replied, “Secretary Aguirre’s alleged evidence against me is like his toupee, his wig — fake and cosmetics only. There is nothing into it other than that. Nothing’s authentic.”
Aguirre II has yet to react to de Lima’s ribbing but, in this case, we’re guessing silence is an admission of guilt?
