It’s a good thing nobody was killed.
“Strong winds and intermittent rains tore off three steel window frames from a unit at the 32nd floor of One Beverly Place Condominium along Annapolis Street in Greenhills, San Juan, around 8am on Thursday, July 31,” reports Gus Abelgas on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The broken steel window frames fell on at least 13 vehicles that were parked or passing in front of the condominium.
Moreover, several pedestrians were injured, including construction foreman Alfonso Nanza, who was walking to a nearby building.
Nanza, who sustained injuries on the back of his neck, was brought to a hospital.
The condominium is under Alexandria Realty Corp., which is owned by Marilyn Limjoco.
According to Greenhills sector commander Senior Inspector Virgilio Santiago, Limjoco promised to pay for the damages and injuries brought about by the incident.
