Well-known neurologist Dr. Rustico Jimenez definitely got everyone’s attention when he commented that Manny Pacquiao was showing early signs of Parkinson’s disease, based on what he saw on TV. According to Manila Standard Today, the doctor made the statement even if he’s never met or seen the boxer, but he also added that his conclusions could be wrong.
Michael Koncz, Pacquiao’s adviser, mentioned that they were entertaining the idea of filing a civil suit against the neurologist and was reportedly even flying to the US to talk with Pacquiao’s lawyer, David Marroso, about it. But Pacquiao himself said, “It was only a comment. We all have the right to comment, you know. God is just.”
