Tim Grover, Kobe Bryant’s and Dwayne Wade’s personal trainer, commended Filipino basketball trainers for having some of the most advanced skills and programs compared to other Asian counterparts.
Grover specifically singled out Chot Reyes, who is the head coach of PBA team Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters. He also said that he noticed a lot of talented Philippine players during the 2011 All-Star Weekend where PBA players played against the NBA All-Star team.
According to the Philippine Star, Grover has been to the Philippines before to do clinics and trainings. He was also here to accompany NBA star Kobe Bryant on a promotional visit for Nike and during the all-star weekend.
