The Ateneo Blue Eagles are looking for a replacement for their ex-coach Norman Black, and news is that Alex Compton is being eyed for the position. Having won MVP during his MBA and PBM days, the 38-year old Compton is a strong candidate, according to a story on philstar.com.
However, according to team representative Ricky Palou, Compton wants to make sure he’s not stepping on anybody’s toes, that “the picture is clear if and when he comes in.” This is because other people are also considered for the position, such as Sandy Arespacochaga and Jamike Jamarin.
As of present, the school hasn’t decided on anyone yet, however.
