What could have happened to him?
A South Korean man identified as Sang Kwan An arrived in Manila on board a Cebu Pacific flight from Taipei at around 3:30am on Thu, Jul 21. However, he was denied entry to the country by immigration officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
“Airport authorities have yet to say why the foreigner was denied entry to the country, and why he did not take the earliest flight out of the Philippines after he was denied entry,” reports ABS-CBN News.
Department of Transportation spokesperson Cherie Mercado revealed that at around 7:28pm, airport personnel found the man’s body lying on the floor of the men’s room inside the airport exclusion room, where passengers who are denied entry wait for their flight out of the country.
