In a contest of wedding days from hell, this one may just take the cake.
In the town of Santo Niño in South Cotabato, a newlywed man named Rodel Estoque was arrested right after his church wedding.
“Policemen served Estoque a warrant for his arrest frustrated murder, a charge filed against him several years ago in a court in another South Cotabato town,” reports John Unson on Philstar.com.
The report didn’t reveal added details of the groom’s case.
Estoque and his bride immediately cancelled their wedding reception because he had to be brought to a detention facility.
